“I oversee the day-to-day running of Jorvik, from product development to acting as a tricycle advisor. Looking back over the past 11 years, there are so many highlights - growing the company, changing perceptions of tricycles, opening showrooms with dedicated test tracks, and even running our first TV adverts.

“But for me, it always starts and ends with the customer. Meeting so many incredible people, hearing their personal stories - some that bring tears, others laughter - and being able to play a small part in helping them discover the freedom and fun a tricycle brings… that’s the real highlight.

“This is why I’ll always dedicate time to being in one of our showrooms. Without our amazing community, Jorvik simply wouldn’t exist.”

My role goes beyond sales - it’s about empowering people, building trust, and providing products and services that truly improve quality of life.”

“I look after the technical and sales support side of Jorvik, helping customers with trike issues, diagnosing faults, creating how-to videos, and making sure problems are solved as quickly as possible.

“I’ve been a bike technician for almost 10 years, and I still learn something new every day. The best part of my job is visiting customers and seeing the joy on their faces when their trike is back up and running. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how much freedom and confidence our trikes bring to people’s lives.”

“I bring the showroom experience to our customers’ homes, allowing them to test ride a Jorvik tricycle in the comfort of their own surroundings.

“A particularly memorable moment for me was doing a home demo for the Ellis family. Carla, who has Down syndrome, couldn’t ride a traditional bicycle. Seeing the joy on her face - and later the videos from her family as she whizzed around - showed me just how life-changing our tricycles can be for our community.”

“I’m Jake, the newest member of the Jorvik team, based at our Southampton showroom as a tricycle advisor and expert.

“Joining Jorvik has been a dream opportunity for me. My son had multiple strokes at birth and lives with Cerebral Palsy, so being able to support customers who may not be able to ride a conventional bicycle and draw on my own experiences is incredibly rewarding.

“Even in the short time I’ve been here, I’ve seen how passionate the entire Jorvik team is about making cycling accessible to everyone. I can honestly say this doesn’t feel like work - it’s a vocation.”
