At Jorvik Tricycles, supporting the Parkinson's community isn't just something we do, it's part of who we are.
Our story began when our founder, James, was looking for a way to help his dad continue enjoying an active lifestyle after being diagnosed with Parkinson's. Unable to find a product that truly met his needs, James set out to create one himself – and Jorvik Tricycles was born. That determination to help people regain their independence and confidence is still at the heart of everything we do today.
That's why we're incredibly proud to be the lead sponsor of this year's Parkinson's UK Yorkshire Walk, taking place on Sunday 19th July at Temple Newsam in Leeds.
The event is raising money for the Parkinson's UK Nurse Appeal, helping to fund more Parkinson's specialist nurses, so that thousands more people can access the expert care they need.
Whether you're taking on the 6.1-mile walk or the accessible 1.1-mile route, it's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, come together with the Parkinson's community and raise money for an important cause.

Our friendly team will be offering one-to-one demonstrations, answering questions about our range and chatting to anyone interested in learning more about how our tricycles can help people stay active and independent. Whether you're considering a tricycle for yourself or supporting a loved one, we'd love to meet you.
